Coke and mentos

WALT : Know the results of a fair test

 Description : So this week our teacher let us do the  Science experiment and we had to choose what experiment we had to do and I did Coke and Mentos and we had to put it in our own board of our own results and we had our catching Title and I made it up Sky high.

What I did well : Testing the results so we know them and put up the title

Description : This week out Teacher let us read a story called where does wind come from and in our reading activities she let us to create an Infographic and some people thinks it's to hard but if you don't know what it is it is when you have a combination of diagram, symbols, flowchart, words, and numbers, about the story in an interesting way. This story is really interesting and and reading activities are easy to do and I hope you would like to read about the wind it is so cool.

Persuasive Writing Part 2

WALT : write a Persuasive Writing about anything we want

We need to make animals happy

I believe that we should make our cupcakes perfect because every person likes to have cupcakes instead
of muffins

It needs to have the right ingredients to their cupcakes, and so with the icing
(because it will taste amazing. Choosing your favorite designing the cupcakes on top is making it better.

Check if it has the right flavor, what size do you want to make it stand out, how much you want and the
taste of it that makes everyone happy and it can’t stop eating it, and what is your favorite food coloring
in the icing.                  

Your mother or father can give you a surprise of a perfect cupcake to bring it to school and showing
them to your friends and they would be jealous of you. Then the taste comes from the cupcake feels the
absolute joy that people want to eat it.

Some people like the taste of it because the flavor to the cupcake tastes great and a lot of children
around the world like to have cupcakes but you can not have it all the time.

That is why A lot of people like cupcakes because what makes cupcakes perfect is when you add
right ingredients same with icing and the designing and they would think it would taste amazing.

What I've enjoyed : Working on this writing about we need to make animals happy

Paragraph Writing

WALT : write a paragraph writing about this picture

A man Looks really dirty, scruffy and untidy. He is in the disgusting house that it looks like he is
poor as he sitting down in the damp house. He can’t go anywhere he is stuck in the damp
house, he doesn’t know what to do.
  

Sometimes, he can hear a creaky noise outside that made him feel scared because it is so dark
out there that you would never see anything as he would move along in the damp house.
He looks like he is sad because he was in the house feeling lonely, scared and nervous. 

As his tears slowly trickle down his face he can taste the salty tears. His nose is starting to drip
like a tap. He wipes his nose with his dirty arm. The house inside looks really poor and it would
smell disgusting like dirt and rubbish dump. 

I feel sorry for him because he is in a disgusting house and he is very dirty, scruffy and untidy
and he feels really lonely. The creaky noise makes him feel frightened and he doesn’t know
what it is. He is worried about scary people or animals coming to get him.

What I've enjoyed : is working on this writing because I like to do some descriptive words in
my Writing.

My next step : could be add a bit more to the writing so it could stand out but I've done a
great job.

Boring Street

This week in our class we've being reading Boring Street and we have to choose one activity in out Chromebook and the rest of them in our books so I pick the evaluation part of it because it is easy and all of the kids in our class know that that part of it is easy.

Biscuit for the Teacher

 This week I learnt to create my Reading Activities of a story called Biscuits for the Teacher. 

We had to work in groups and we pick each activity so I pick Analysing because it is my favorite part of doing my reading work. Some of my reading activities are Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Anlaysing, Creating and Evaluation, but I was told to choose one and I was very happy of what I was chosen to do the Analysing. For the first activity I had to do on the analysing was we had to create a window and we have to draw the most important part of the story and I was drawing when the teacher told the class that she was leaving in the story. The next part of my Analysing was making a Story web which was Problem, Characters, Settings, Action, Feelings and Outcome. 

I've enjoyed doing the Analysing because it is really easy for me and it took me 5 minutes to create all of the analysing work. I think I would make my Analysing put into 2 slideshow because you can see side by slide. I've found interesting is the story web because all of the part of the story was great and I really enjoyed it. I work this with a group and we did it at the same time without any mistakes. the creating the window one was very creative because when I finish it it looks really stand out.

That is why I like my Analysing one because it is really creative and it was the best one of the week.

Causes and Effects in Poor countries

Causes and Effects of poverty

We are looking at the causes and effects of poverty, there are many factors that contribute to
poverty and we are going to expand on some of these now.  Some of the main factors are climate,
conflict and lack of education. There are some issues around politics, economics, and population in
the poor countries.

Some LEDC (poor countries) they don’t have enough education because In poor countries People
get no much money to go to school to learn and some people have no money around them that
would cause them hunger, sickness and not looking after yourself and it would affect them.

Some Poor countries have drought because they don’t get much rain and it causes dry lands
because they have very hot weather all the time and didn’t get much rain to get water.

Some poor people are in famine because they do not have food and water and they can’t look after
themself because the crops and animals died because of the drought.                                   

That is why there are some causes and effects to the poor countries and people in poor countries
don’t live well.

My Mother

WALT : write down the Character Description about your Mother

My mother looks like she comes from Vietnam, she has brown short hair, sometimes she wears glasses
and she is small, she cooks me breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me. She sounds like she is Vietnamese
and she teaches me how to speak Vietnamese. She smells like when she goes out with her friends she
smells like cherry blossom when she goes out. My mother is a very happy person and she likes me to
help her every day.

Sometimes my Mother wants to act she is a boss when she wants me to do something because she likes
to make me work fast like my chores. She speaks to me really friendly to me because she likes me to
help her when she is bored and tired. She likes to laugh when I tell her the joke because she likes jokes.

Sometimes I make my mother sad because some of my chores I didn't do make her upset. I will make her
happy by doing my chores every day so that she can be happy and take me out. My mum gets upset
with my grandparents because they are not kind to her but I told them to be kind to my Mother and when
my Mother comes they apologizes of what they did and they hug each other.

My mother is a very tidy Woman because she likes to clean the house, clean her car and tidy up her
bedroom because she likes to have more pace to do her work like cooking. She likes to tidy up the table
ready for Lunch or dinner. She likes to clean the TV because there is some mark on it and she likes to
tidy up the kitchen and she likes me to help her to do the kitchen because she thinks that i’m a very tidy
person.

Thank you for being a great mum I’m really enjoy living with you.

Pig the Pug

Pig - looks like he is so chubby and would show off with his costumes when he is dancing. Pig sounds like that he is happy about playing with his toys because he is selfish and he would never share to anyone. A Pig would smell like that as he would live on a farm.

Pig - is a mean dog he is selfish and never share to anyone of what Trevor wants. Pig acts like he wants to keep an eye on Trevor. The Pig never let Trevor rule the hots he is unfair to Trevor. Pig thinks he is the boss and he would know everything about Trevor.

Pig - makes everyone sad because he is mean to everyone and he never shares to Trevor and it hurts people feeling. Trevor wants to get attention with a pig so that he could be nicer but pig gets ruder and ruder. Trevor thinks that he is a nasty person and he does not say nice things back. Pig tries to get Trevor mad and started to get hurt. That is why people are sad because of the pig.

Pig - bedroom is a mess and he never tidy up is room and is bed is full of toys. He treated his clothes and he never put things away. He leaves his shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and hair conditioner lying around the bathroom and as he goes in the bathroom he will slip and he will hurt himself.

Very bad Weather

Very Bad weather

It was a very bad weather over in Western Australia there is cyclone over their and Trevor
and Pig was very sick and lived there and all the sudden their house was about to explode
and the Neighbour next to the house saw what happen.

Who :  Trevor and Pig, Neighbour

What : The weather turn out bad at Trevor and Pig house

When : 24th of March

Where : In Western Australia

Why : because the weather has been bad where since 22nd of March and it is going even worse.

How : Trevor and Pig was looking out of the window and suddenly the Dark grey clouds were coming and the wind
started.

It was on the 24th of March  and it was A very bad weather over there because there has been a cyclone around
the Western Australia and Trevor and Pig was so scared and they were very sick.

The Neighbour next door notice it so she rang the ambulance immediately to take Trevor and Pig to the Hospital
and help them. Trevor and Pig stayed in the hospital for an Hour to check if Pig and Trevor were alright. ‘ Trevor
said’ are you Ok ‘ Pig said’ I’m fine what about you  I’m fine now thank you ‘ Trevor said’ They told the nurses
and the Doctor that they are Ok.

Trevor and Pig herd that they are living in a different house Because of that cyclone made the house blow up.
Trevor and Pig are very upset because they like that house it was their best house ever. They heard that the
Neighbour had died because of the cyclone.

Before when they went to their new house the bad weather stopped and it was a nice day.

When they went in the new house ‘Trevor said’ Wow I really like this house’ so did the pig and they got all of the
toys and they played with it and they loved each other and lived happily ever after.

Description : Our Teacher has been reading us a book called Pig the Pug so maybe you guys will know it. So our teacher told us to write a report of Trevor and Pig but not in the story but you can write anything about Trevor and Pig.

Favorite space to learn at school D.L.O

Description : Our teacher asked us to make a D.L.O about favorite space to learn at school. Sorry this D.L.O is very short because when your writing about it it takes not long to do it that is why the D.L.O is very short.

Descriptive writing

In Room 6, we are learning about Descriptive writing. Our teacher asked us to pick a picture and we had to describe it.

It was was a nice day that we lived in that house all the garden around that the house was as dark as the forest that the flower around the house that made it colourful. The windows was colourful and it made me happy. I really like the white roof on top the house because it made it stand out with the picture. It look like people that go hunting lives in that house.
