Boring Street

This week in our class we've being reading Boring Street and we have to choose one activity in out Chromebook and the rest of them in our books so I pick the evaluation part of it because it is easy and all of the kids in our class know that that part of it is easy.

Biscuit for the Teacher

 This week I learnt to create my Reading Activities of a story called Biscuits for the Teacher. 

We had to work in groups and we pick each activity so I pick Analysing because it is my favorite part of doing my reading work. Some of my reading activities are Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Anlaysing, Creating and Evaluation, but I was told to choose one and I was very happy of what I was chosen to do the Analysing. For the first activity I had to do on the analysing was we had to create a window and we have to draw the most important part of the story and I was drawing when the teacher told the class that she was leaving in the story. The next part of my Analysing was making a Story web which was Problem, Characters, Settings, Action, Feelings and Outcome. 

I've enjoyed doing the Analysing because it is really easy for me and it took me 5 minutes to create all of the analysing work. I think I would make my Analysing put into 2 slideshow because you can see side by slide. I've found interesting is the story web because all of the part of the story was great and I really enjoyed it. I work this with a group and we did it at the same time without any mistakes. the creating the window one was very creative because when I finish it it looks really stand out.

That is why I like my Analysing one because it is really creative and it was the best one of the week.

Causes and Effects in Poor countries

Causes and Effects of poverty

We are looking at the causes and effects of poverty, there are many factors that contribute to
poverty and we are going to expand on some of these now.  Some of the main factors are climate,
conflict and lack of education. There are some issues around politics, economics, and population in
the poor countries.

Some LEDC (poor countries) they don’t have enough education because In poor countries People
get no much money to go to school to learn and some people have no money around them that
would cause them hunger, sickness and not looking after yourself and it would affect them.

Some Poor countries have drought because they don’t get much rain and it causes dry lands
because they have very hot weather all the time and didn’t get much rain to get water.

Some poor people are in famine because they do not have food and water and they can’t look after
themself because the crops and animals died because of the drought.                                   

That is why there are some causes and effects to the poor countries and people in poor countries
don’t live well.

My Mother

WALT : write down the Character Description about your Mother

My mother looks like she comes from Vietnam, she has brown short hair, sometimes she wears glasses
and she is small, she cooks me breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me. She sounds like she is Vietnamese
and she teaches me how to speak Vietnamese. She smells like when she goes out with her friends she
smells like cherry blossom when she goes out. My mother is a very happy person and she likes me to
help her every day.

Sometimes my Mother wants to act she is a boss when she wants me to do something because she likes
to make me work fast like my chores. She speaks to me really friendly to me because she likes me to
help her when she is bored and tired. She likes to laugh when I tell her the joke because she likes jokes.

Sometimes I make my mother sad because some of my chores I didn't do make her upset. I will make her
happy by doing my chores every day so that she can be happy and take me out. My mum gets upset
with my grandparents because they are not kind to her but I told them to be kind to my Mother and when
my Mother comes they apologizes of what they did and they hug each other.

My mother is a very tidy Woman because she likes to clean the house, clean her car and tidy up her
bedroom because she likes to have more pace to do her work like cooking. She likes to tidy up the table
ready for Lunch or dinner. She likes to clean the TV because there is some mark on it and she likes to
tidy up the kitchen and she likes me to help her to do the kitchen because she thinks that i’m a very tidy
person.

Pig the Pug

Pig - looks like he is so chubby and would show off with his costumes when he is dancing. Pig sounds like that he is happy about playing with his toys because he is selfish and he would never share to anyone. A Pig would smell like that as he would live on a farm.

Pig - is a mean dog he is selfish and never share to anyone of what Trevor wants. Pig acts like he wants to keep an eye on Trevor. The Pig never let Trevor rule the hots he is unfair to Trevor. Pig thinks he is the boss and he would know everything about Trevor.

Pig - makes everyone sad because he is mean to everyone and he never shares to Trevor and it hurts people feeling. Trevor wants to get attention with a pig so that he could be nicer but pig gets ruder and ruder. Trevor thinks that he is a nasty person and he does not say nice things back. Pig tries to get Trevor mad and started to get hurt. That is why people are sad because of the pig.

Pig - bedroom is a mess and he never tidy up is room and is bed is full of toys. He treated his clothes and he never put things away. He leaves his shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and hair conditioner lying around the bathroom and as he goes in the bathroom he will slip and he will hurt himself.
